In 2018, Trustus Theatre in Columbia, SC staged a theatrical rendition of the critically acclaimed concept album “Constance” by the band The Restoration. The album and its related musical theater version are a multi-generational picture of race and family in rural South Carolina from the fallout of the American Civil War up through the Great Depression. This photo series is a window into the production itself and the people who work to make it happen on a spring evening.
